yup. you're right. I've GOT to remember to let a tune cool off for a day or so before I try to mix it down. I tend to focus so hard, during composition, practice, takes, and arrangement, that on the back side of the thing, I'm a little brain-washed.

My first impressions: Simple start, sounds like something you'd hear in an old final fantasy game. (which isn't a bad thing.)

All around: Is diverse enough to hold my attention throughout the whole song. The audio clip of the girl talking was a nice touch. The overall mix sounds acceptable, I feel like the bass get a little off at some points.
